Modular Scalable Lighting
New approaches to lightning are giving Architects and Interior Designers more freedom to integrate light design directly into a space. This can be found in the new modular lighting system from Hubbardton Forge in their Abacus lighting line.
Glass globes in opal white or cool gray can be arranged in a variety of layouts to illuminate a space with LED light emitted from internal tubes. The result is a stunning and unique lighting design arrangement that is at home in a modern residential layout or commercial space.
Longer, shorter, wider…We can do that! The customizable nature of the Abacus is endless. Either side of a headboard, a 30′ space divider with 15′ ceilings, above a 10′ long island, or over a dining table…the Abacus is as versatile as it gets. Custom options are available to accommodate specific applications.
LED TECHNOLOGY Glass globes are individually lit via a frosted LED tube, powered by low-voltage cables. CUSTOM OPTIONS Working with local Vermont artisans, we can create custom colors and shapes to suit any design needs. ADJUSTABLE True to its namesake, the Abacus moves up and down its cable “rails” by virtue of tiny grippers on each side that, when squeezed, free the globe to slide and stop exactly where you want to position it.
